Gardening Club

We have a brand new gardening club in school! It is run by Mr Burrows and Mrs Macdonald, with support from Miss Sheldon, the student in the Rainbows class. We have a number of very enthusiastic parents and children attending on a Thursday evening from 3pm to 4pm. We are hoping to transform the grounds of the school over the next few months and have a few projects in mind. If you feel you would like to join us with your child please speak to Mr Burrows or Mrs Macdonald.

Over the last two weeks we have been clearing the school allotment on the field. We dug, weeded, hoed, cleared and sorted. We found a huge amount of potatoes, carrots, beans and herbs that were planted last year by children in the school. The children who helped took home big bags of produce to use for a carrot and potato soup...yummy!!
