Paralympic Athlete Visit

We had an inspirational visit from Claire Cashmore this week. Here she is meeting our school council

Nurturing Schools Award

At Warren Hills, we are proud of our nurturing ethos, supporting children to find and use strategies that will enable them to grow into responsible citizens and we are pleased to announce that we have just been awarded the Nurturing Schools Award in October 2019.

School Games Silver Award

Pupils at Warren Hills take part in a variety of sporting activities both within our PE lessons, at after school clubs and in competitions against other local schools. We are pleased to announce that again we have been awarded with the Silver School Games Award for 2019.

House Trophy Winners

The children and staff at Warren Hills are all allocated a house group when they arrive at the school. They earn house points through our Dojo reward system by showing good values and manners and working hard to achieve their potential. These points are collated together and at the end of the term, one of the houses wins the House Trophy.

Forest Champion

We took part in planting trees around our school grounds with National Forestry Commission and we also have a very active Forest School area, where the children regularly take part in sessions. We were awarded a Forest Champion plaque.

Route to Resilience

We are delighted to have become an accredited "Route to Resilience" school. This is an evidence based and practical approach to developing the character, resilience and emotional well being of our children and families.

Beyond Bullying Award

At Warren Hills, we value that everyone is unique and we celebrate their diversity. We are respectful of other people, their cultures and beliefs. We are currently working on renewing our Beyond Bullying Award alongside Leicestershire County Council.
